Seeking dynamic problem solver for fully remote customer service and sales position
Job Overview
As a customer Sales & Service Representative, you will be a key point of contact for both new and existing clients. This role blends customer service, sales support, follow-up, and administrative coordination. You'll work closely with the agency owner and internal team to handle inbound requests, policy changes, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities.
This is not a call-center role. We value quality conversations, professionalism, accuracy, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is calm, organized, and confident, guiding client conversations while consistently delivering a high level of service.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Requirements
Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License – REQUIRED
Must have own equipment: desktop computer, 2 monitors, web camera, and high-speed Ethernet-connected internet connection.
Life & Health Insurance License – Preferred (strongly desired but not required)
Must remain license-compliant and in good standing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable guiding client conversations and making coverage recommendations
Organized and able to manage multiple tasks without losing accuracy
Coachable, accountable, and receptive to feedback
Calm under pressure and solution-focused
Prior insurance agency experience preferred
Familiarity with personal lines (auto, home, umbrella) strongly preferred
CRM and agency management system experience is a plus
Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls, emails, and text messages from clients
Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, and coverage explanations
Support new business quotes for auto, home, and related personal lines
Follow up on leads, renewals, and outstanding client requests
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or bundle coverage when appropriate
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM/agency management system
Coordinate internally with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Deliver a calm, professional, and helpful experience on every client interaction
