[Remote] Sr Director- AI Solutions Architect, AI Center of Excellence

Deltek is looking to build an AI Center of Excellence, and they are seeking a Senior Director, AI Solutions Architect to establish foundational AI capabilities across the enterprise. This role involves defining the technical vision, designing scalable platforms, and architecting solutions to enable AI adoption, while collaborating with senior leadership to drive measurable business value. Responsibilities • Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for enterprise AI platforms, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals and long-term scalability requirements • Develop and maintain the enterprise AI technology roadmap, balancing innovation with practical implementation and organizational readiness • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and frameworks to inform strategic technology decisions • Design end-to-end AI solutions that address complex business challenges, considering integration points, data flows, security requirements, and operational constraints • Define the technical architecture for enterprise AI platforms, including model deployment infrastructure, orchestration frameworks, and observability tools • Collaborate with governance teams to translate AI policies into technical controls and architectural safeguards Skills • 18+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and IT systems, with significant recent experience (4+ years) architecting AI/ML solutions and platforms • Deep hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including large language models, generative AI platforms, machine learning frameworks, and AI agent architectures • Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services, API design, microservices architecture, containerization, and modern software development practices • Demonstrated superior analytical and technical thinking across multiple areas of responsibility, with proven track record defining technical strategy and leading enterprise-scale AI initiatives • Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical vision to audiences from technical teams to C-level executives Company Overview • Deltek is an enterprise software and information solutions provider for professional services firms and government contractors.
