[Remote] Field Service Engineer - PA

Agilent Technologies is a leading company in scientific instrumentation, and they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing various systems. The role involves delivering integrated solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and training others in the field.
Responsibilities
- Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
- Performs maintenance and repairs
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may affect product performance
- Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
- Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software
- Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline—such as chemistry, analytical sciences, biomedical engineering—or equivalent education and experience
- 1+ years of experience in a similar position or experience as an end-user
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful, and timely
- You have a valid driver's license
- Enjoy traveling and visiting customers, including some overnight travel as needed
- Must consent to participate and meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites
- Experience with Agilent solutions is desired but not essential
