Paid Media Strategist

As a Paid Media Strategist, you will drive digital advertising strategies across various platforms, manage client budgets, and optimize campaign performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Strategically plan, create, and oversee all facets of digital advertising campaigns, including PPC, Google Display, YouTube, and social media
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering a tailored experience to meet their unique needs and ensure satisfaction and strong, long-term relationships
- Monitor and manage campaign finances diligently, ensuring adherence to budgets, forecasting monthly expenditures, and reconciling any financial discrepancies
- Uphold strict adherence to campaign deadlines, ensuring precise and accurate execution of all tasks
- Conduct detailed tracking, analysis, and reporting of website analytics using GA4 and other tools, as well as performance metrics for all paid advertising initiatives
- Implement conversion tracking by setting up and placing the appropriate codes on clients’ websites
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Marketing Science, Sales, Web Development, Social Media, Content, and SEO—to manage client accounts and implement tailored marketing strategies
- Support process innovation to ensure campaigns run efficiently and effectively
- Continuously stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain innovative and competitive marketing strategies
Skills
- Legally able to work in Canada and located in Calgary, AB
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in SEM (Search Engine Marketing), managing PPC campaigns on Google, demonstrating a strong grasp of paid search strategies
- 2+ years in customer service, hospitality, or client relationship management
- Experience with analytics and tracking tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Meta advertising
- Analytical and data-driven mindset, with a good understanding of A/B testing and experience optimizing marketing strategies
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong project management and prioritization skills
- Strong organizational skills to maintain systematic campaign management
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Basic understanding of SEO principles is beneficial for integrating SEM with organic search strategies
- Previous experience in an agency setting, demonstrating adaptability and client-focused experience
- Experience with Fluency
