[Remote] Sales Development Representative, Prepared

Axon is on a mission to Protect Life, focusing on critical safety and justice issues with their ecosystem of devices and cloud software. They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to conduct outbound prospecting, qualify leads, and help drive pipeline growth in the public safety and SaaS industries.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in our solutions
  • Identify and qualify potential customers based on defined criteria, ensuring they are a good fit for our product
  • Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives to help move prospects further down the sales funnel
  • Accurately log and track all activities, conversations, and opportunities in Hubspot (or other CRM tools)
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, develop campaigns, and optimize lead conversion
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best sales practices to improve outreach effectiveness

Skills

  • 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive and engaging approach
  • Ability to handle objections and rejection and to continuously improve through feedback
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), sales automation tools, and sales engagement tools
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for sales, lead generation, and relationship-building
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A results-driven approach with a passion for exceeding goals
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
