[Remote] Business Development Associate - Corporate

YipitData is the leading market research and analytics firm for Brands and Retailers, and they are seeking a Business Development Associate to help their Corporate Sales team engage new clients. The role involves identifying prospective opportunities, qualifying inbound sales leads, and developing creative outbound sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective opportunities and utilize a number of communication methods to begin a sales engagement
• Qualify inbound sales leads/opportunities and follow up with marketing-qualified opportunities
• Develop creative outbound sales skills by leveraging various communication methods, including cold calling, cold emailing, direct mail, and more
• Work with Product, Sales, C-level stakeholders, and Strategy professionals who rely on the next generation of alternative data research to help with their strategic decisions
• Collaborate with Marketing to optimize the opportunity conversion process
• Map out organizational structures of leading Brands and Retailers to identify prospective users
• Develop skills across a broad range of sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Asana, and others

• Experience as an SDR (either in an internship or full-time role)
