Strategy Consultant- Healthcare and Life Sciences

Sia is a next-generation, global management consulting group that focuses on supporting the life sciences and healthcare industries. They are seeking a full-time Analyst / Consultant to join their Strategy & Management Consulting team, where the role involves solving complex business problems and providing actionable insights across various client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research to assess market dynamics, competitor positioning, and emerging trends in life sciences and adjacent sectors
• Perform competitive benchmarking and technology landscaping across therapeutic areas, modalities, and geographies
• Quantify market potential through segmentation, value-driver, and scenario analyses
• Build Excel models to support valuation, forecasting, and decision-support exercises
• Develop high-impact PowerPoint presentations that translate data and analysis into clear, executive-level insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to align market insights with technical and product realities
• Participate in client meetings, interviews, and workshops to capture key insights and refine recommendations
• Contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary consulting environment across Sia’s broader ecosystem

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, life sciences, engineering, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in consulting, strategy, market research, or life sciences analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with strong presentation design skills
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client service excellence
• Experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare strategy, product development, or commercialization
• 2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, market research, or life sciences analysis
• Knowledge of biotechnology, medical devices, and/or pharmaceutical development processes
• Familiarity with project management tools and cross-functional collaboration
