Systems Engineer Entry Level
General Dynamics Mission Systems is a leader in high technology solutions and services for defense and scientific operations. They are seeking an Entry Level Systems Engineer to join their Nuclear Weapons Security program, responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining integrated electronic security systems.
Responsibilities
- As a systems engineer for the Nuclear Weapons Security program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining integrated electronic security system that support the United States strategic deterrence capabilities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Agile experience preferred
- Ability to understand and analyze systems as a whole
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to address complex system issues
- Experience or coursework in requirements analysis and management
- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
- Creative thinker with ability to multi-task
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
