[Remote] Editorial Project Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RemoteHunter is seeking an Editorial Project Coordinator to support content processes for their editorial platforms. This role involves aiding in editorial workflow, managing content management systems, and organizing project management systems to support Christian writers, editors, and readers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Editorial Project Manager to maintain an organized workflow
- Maintain quality of technical input of articles on the website
- Aid in project management for print magazine production and general project management systems
- Facilitate content management systems including Trello, Planyway, WordPress, Google Suite, InCopy, and InDesign
- Track current issue progress through print workflow
- Manage magazine issue migration
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders about the customer service queue related to editorial
- Assist with various project management tasks as delegated by the Senior Editorial Project Manager
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Publishing, Communications, Journalism, English, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in editorial coordination, publishing, project management, or related administrative roles
- Proficiency with content and project management tools such as Trello, Planyway, WordPress, and Google Workspace preferred
- Ability to learn and adapt to new digital tools and systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to follow workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in problem solving
- Strong emotional intelligence
