Senior Principal Consultant- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect Location: Chicago, IL (Remotely) Duration: 12+ months Client is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and data-driven marketing solutions. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud is architected to support personalized, omnichannel customer journeys and long-term platform growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, strong integration and data architecture skills, and proven experience leading complex marketing technology implementations. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Design • Architect end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions aligned with business, marketing, and IT objectives • Define scalable architecture for email, mobile, web, advertising, and personalization use cases • Establish best practices for data modeling, account configuration, security, and performance Platform Leadership • Act as the technical authority for Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations • Evaluate and recommend Salesforce features, add-ons, and related technologies (Personalization, Data Cloud, Mobile, etc.) • Lead technical design workshops and architecture reviews Data & Integration Architecture • Design and oversee integrations between Marketing Cloud and CRM (Sales/Service Cloud), Data Cloud/CDP, web platforms, and third-party systems • Define data models, contact strategies, and identity resolution approaches • Ensure data governance, compliance, and privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM) Journey & Personalization Enablement • Architect complex customer journeys using Journey Builder and real-time triggers • Enable advanced segmentation, automation, and personalization capabilities • Support AI-driven features such as Einstein recommendations, send-time optimization, and predictive scoring Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
