About the position
Responsibilities
• Partner with lawyers on the team to provide legal services, including:
• Conduct global legal research and summarize new legislative requirements
• Assist with review of Privacy Impact Assessments, coordinating with Privacy Analysts and lawyers
• Review documentation to ensure consistency with guidelines and privacy laws
• Draft, review and support the negotiation of contracts, data protection agreements, data transfer agreements, and other legal documents
• Organize and enhance management of Company privacy policies, notices, agreements, and procedures
• Develop and maintain documentation protocols for tracking templates
• Assist in training other stakeholders in contractual requirements, playbooks, and new templates
• Collaborate with the team to draft and update FAQs, guidelines, consents, and other notices
• Identify, analyze, and summarize practical, responsive solutions and advice relating to compliance with global privacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Help coordinate, prioritize, and streamline legal support with the team
• Contribute to the development of the Privacy Program, including reviewing, drafting, and updating supporting documentation (e.g.
Standards and Guidelines). • Support filing and documentation of work product and monitoring for internal and external deadlines
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
• 3+ years of experience providing paralegal support at a law firm or in-house
• Background in all or some of the following areas: data privacy, technology, vendor management, info security

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and other related tools
• Tech savvy – able to quickly grasp new software and adeptly navigate through various platforms
• CIPP preferred but not required
