About the Role

As a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in our Customer Experience team, handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to deliver personalized support and resolve complex issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your goal will be to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every interaction is positive, informative, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails from customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers, ensuring that their concerns are addressed, and their needs are met.
  • Utilize multiple systems and tools to navigate customer accounts, access relevant information, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including healthcare providers, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and meeting productivity standards.
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible hours, including evenings and holidays.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection, distraction-free work environment, and ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance, and medical terminology.
  • Experience working in a call center or contact center environment.
