Senior Consultant, Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Consulting
Job Description:
• Assist clients with unclaimed property services, including voluntary disclosures and audit defense
• Research issues, reconcile databases, and complete detailed calculations
• Create positive team member experiences to lead to excellent client service
• Engage and facilitate client communication
• Review and analyze client data files to identify unclaimed property liability
• Prepare workbook of potential liability by property type
• Draft written reports detailing review and quantification methods
• Research state unclaimed property statutes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics
• At least two to four years unclaimed property consulting, state government auditing, or third-party auditing experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
• Valid driver’s license required
