Senior Portfolio Financial Property Manager

CFM Management Services is seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of 5–8 properties with a strong emphasis on financial performance, budgeting, and strategic oversight. This role is responsible for driving portfolio-level results through disciplined financial management, collaboration with property teams, and proactive communication. The ideal candidate combines property management financial expertise with leadership experience and the ability to manage complex portfolios while maintaining a high level of accountability and service. Portfolio & Financial Management Oversee the financial performance of a portfolio of 5–8 properties Lead the preparation and management of annual operating and capital budgets Review monthly financial statements, analyze variances, and provide clear explanations and recommendations Monitor cash flow, reserves, and capital expenditures across the portfolio Leadership & Collaboration Serve as the primary portfolio-level contact Guide and support onsite property managers with a strong focus on financial accountability Mentor and review work of accounting or portfolio support staff as applicable Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in property or portfolio management with a strong financial focus Proven experience managing multi-property portfolios Commercial, multifamily, or mixed-use experience preferred Skills & Competencies Strong financial acumen and understanding of property-level accounting Advanced Excel skills; experience with property management/accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications CMCA, AMS, PCAM Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Why Join CFM Management Services?
