[Remote] Ruby On Rails Developer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join Apple Inc. on a high-impact team. The role involves building and maintaining web applications, APIs, and integrations that support Apple's global logistics and inventory initiatives. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain features for existing Rails 5/6 applications • Design and implement API integrations with third-party companies and internal systems • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to deliver scalable solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, capacity, and system limitations • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms Skills • 8+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience (expert-level proficiency) • Strong experience with API design and integration (JSON, REST, RPC, XML, ProtoBuf) • Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery) • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins) and testing frameworks (RSpec, MiniTest) • MacOS knowledge and experience with AWS (EC2, RDS) preferred • This contract requires direct W-2 employment with TEKsystems.
