IT Technical Advisor - IAM/AAM
Intact is committed to supporting its employees while helping them grow in their careers. They are seeking an IT Technical Advisor specializing in IAM/AAM to oversee the management of identity and access services, ensuring security and seamless user experiences for Brokers and Customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management of IAM (Identity and Access Management) and AAM (Authentication and Authorization) services, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our Broker and Customer communities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define the roadmap for IAM and AAM services
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in IAM and AAM to maintain high security and seamless user experiences
- Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and reliability of IAM and AAM services
- Coordinate with Infra teams and IT architects to implement and update IAM and AAM solutions
- Provide support and assistance to senior team members in implementing and managing security solutions
- Work closely with clients to understand their security needs and assist in deploying IAM and AAM solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of security systems
- Contribute to technical documentation and training materials
- Participate in team meetings and support the team with diverse tasks as needed
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and vulnerability assessments
- Follow up on requests / incidents using service management tool and change control procedures to deploy new security rules, guarantee complete resolution of problems and accelerate incident recovery time
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in identity and access management technologies to proactively enhance our services
Skills
- University degree/College diploma in related field or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in security, specifically in access management and AAM using a tool such as SailPoint or ISAM
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- A keen desire to learn and develop new skills in cybersecurity and IBM security products
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
- ITIL® v3 Certification desirable
- Relevant certifications are a plus
