Discovery Rep - Industrial Engineering
TD SYNNEX North America is seeking an Industrial Engineer Discovery Representative to join their team. This role is part of a development program aimed at building foundational business and operational skills through real business challenges involving process improvement and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, operational, and supply chain processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Use Excel (advanced), SQL, and analytics tools to evaluate data and performance
- Develop and track KPIs and operational metrics
- Support Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma initiatives, including root cause analysis
- Create process maps and value stream maps to document current and future states
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- Support project planning, documentation, and stakeholder updates
- Participate in TD SYNNEX training and development activities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in: Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business/Data Analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in process improvement, operations analysis, or Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SQL preferred
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and work effectively across teams
- Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with SQL preferred
