Questbank - Associate Product Manager, Residential Lending

Questrade Financial Group (QFG) is a forward-thinking financial institution that utilizes innovative technologies to enhance customer experiences. The Associate Product Manager, Residential Lending will support the secured lending team by providing data-driven insights, assisting in product development, and ensuring quality assurance during large-scale initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end product development lifecycle by producing key deliverables, including feature specifications, contributions to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and low-fidelity wireframes to communicate requirements to Engineering and Design
• Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives) and assist in backlog maintenance and user story writing
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance to ensure features meet business requirements
• Produce post-launch analysis reports and performance dashboards to track adoption and business impact
• Conduct competitive analysis and synthesize user feedback summaries to help the Senior PM identify opportunities for product improvement
• Use analytics to formulate hypotheses and provide data-informed recommendations that influence the team's roadmap
• Help track and report on progress, preparing updates for internal stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive product documentation and standard operating procedures

Skills

• Have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
• Have 1-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Junior Product role within financial services
• Have the familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Have strong Excel/SQL skills and are comfortable working with data to derive insights
• Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep documentation organized and up to date
• Have a strong desire to learn about mortgage lending, core banking technology, and product management best practices
• Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Are proficient in Google Suite - Sheets, Docs, Slides
