Consignment Analyst I
OrthAlign, Inc. is a growing medical device company looking for a Consignment Analyst I. This entry-level position is responsible for managing consigned inventory, performing monthly reporting, and developing key metrics dashboards while collaborating with various departments to enhance consignment operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Field Inventory (consigned instrument sets and units)
- Develop and communicate processes and procedures to control and ensure efficient utilization of field inventory
- Perform regular annual audits and reconciliation of inventory held at customers and distributors
- Develop and provide regular reporting and metrics of field inventory utilization
- Evaluate field inventory levels and utilization; provide recommendations on optimal inventory levels
- Partner with sales management distributors to analyze and redeploy assets
- Review, research, investigate and resolve field inventory discrepancies and disputes related to transferred, returned, lost or damaged inventory
- Produce regular department reports for internal and external groups
- Publish key metrics Dashboard for the department
- Serve as backup for Customer Master Data maintenance
- Responsible for overseeing loaner program
- Accountable for set turns utilization and reallocations
Skills
- Strong proficiency using MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results-oriented, positive, 'can-do' attitude with appropriate urgency and tenacious follow-up
- Ability to work as a collaborative team member as well as independently
- Excellent attention to detail, producing high quality output appropriate to broader context
- Flexibility and strong organization skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Applies sound judgement when making decisions and communicating with peers and management
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience involving customer contact and resolution of customer difficulties is essential
- ERP experience, preferably in Expandable
- Experience developing and transforming a processes and procedures to drive efficiencies and improvement
