Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for future openings for the Customer Service Representative (Hybrid) position, which will be available in the near future. As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for communicating with borrowers regarding federal student loan programs, resolving customer inquiries, taking loan payments, and providing repayment options. This is a hybrid role that requires you to work from home and occasionally visit our office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming borrower calls, chats, and make outbound calls in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Counsel and inform borrowers about their repayment options, deferments, and forbearance eligibility, while taking payments and updating their accounts efficiently.
• Locate needed information quickly and minimize the time borrowers spend on hold, ensuring a seamless and effective customer experience.
• Maintain the security and privacy of borrowers' information, protecting both the borrower and our partners.
• Work an 8-hour shift with a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks, ensuring you are well-rested and focused throughout the day.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills, including the ability to multitask and type while talking to borrowers.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment cognitive and personality assessment.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal 5C Security Clearance and credit check.
• Residence in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area is required.
• Excellent organization, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask, including typing while talking to borrowers.
• Access to home internet with at least 10 mg capacity and a router for an ethernet cord is necessary.
• A dedicated workspace at home that is free from noise and distractions is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the financial or education industry.
• Knowledge of federal student loan programs and repayment options.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
