Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team as a full-time remote worker. As a key member of our Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, you will play a vital role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
  • Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders
  • Aid in investigating critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibility
  • Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the analysis to facilitate stakeholder understanding
  • Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and integrate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the necessity of the data requirements
  • Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methods by monitoring for trends and errors
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
  • May perform other work duties as directed by the team leader

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred
  • Ability to grasp the issue, to summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a strong support/team-oriented environment
  • Ability to commit to responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual
  • Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
