Brand / Visual Designer for Luxury Dating App (Instagram & Launch Assets)
We are building Jollof & Love, a luxury dating platform for Africans in the diaspora — where culture, intention, and connection meet.
This is not a mass-market dating app. Think Dior-level restraint, not loud or trendy.
We are preparing for a March launch and are looking for a Brand / Visual Designer to create refined, editorial-style visuals for our Instagram and pre-launch marketing.
What You’ll Be Designing
This role is focused on brand storytelling, not social media growth hacks.
Deliverables may include:
Instagram carousel posts (editorial / typography-led)
Launch announcement visuals
“Coming Soon” / “Join the Waitlist” graphics
Story highlight covers
Minimal brand quote or positioning graphics
No reels, memes, or influencer-style content.
Design Style We’re Looking For
Luxury, elegant, and restrained
Editorial / fashion-brand inspired
Minimalist typography
Clean layouts with strong hierarchy
Timeless (not trendy)
If your style leans bold, playful, colorful, or Canva-heavy, this is not a fit.
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience designing for luxury brands, fashion, beauty, or premium tech
Strong typography skills
Excellent sense of spacing, composition, and hierarchy
Understands how visuals communicate exclusivity and intention
Can work from an existing brand identity and respect brand guidelines
Bonus (not required):
Experience with pre-launch or waitlist campaigns
Familiarity with dating, lifestyle, or community-based brands
