Senior Data Engineer / AI Engineer (Public Sector Focus)
Polity is looking for a unicorn in the data engineering world. We’re seeking a rare individual with deep experience in public sector data and a strong command of modern AI architectures—including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
This role requires hands-on expertise in AWS and real-world experience deploying secure, production-ready services—either directly to client environments or hosted internally. You’ll work at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and civic technology, helping government organizations unlock insights, automate workflows, and modernize access to information.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
