[Remote] Finance / Asset Management Expert – AI Data Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MyRemoteTeam Inc is seeking senior Finance / Asset Management professionals who have transitioned into AI and tech-enabled workflows to support next-generation AI model evaluation and training. The role involves evaluating and improving AI systems' reasoning about financial workflows, working closely with AI engineers and product teams to design evaluations and curate data. Responsibilities • Define end-to-end finance workflows used in: • Asset Management (portfolio construction, earnings analysis) • Private Equity (commercial diligence, market sizing) • Equity Research (investment thesis, valuation) • Investment Banking (market & competitive research) • Break complex financial processes into clear, testable steps suitable for AI evaluation • Design structured evaluations to assess LLM performance on: • Financial reasoning • Forecasting logic • Risk identification • Data extraction and synthesis • Specify: • Inputs • Expected outputs • Criteria for success vs failure • Create explicit rubrics to score AI outputs, including: • Correct vs incorrect financial logic • Assumption validity • Downside risk awareness • Scenario completeness • Ensure evaluations are auditable, repeatable, and consistent • Evaluate LLMs on workflows such as: • Earnings analysis & quarterly updates • Equity investment thesis generation • Market & competitive research • Financial modeling logic (DCF, LBO, comps) • Act as human-in-the-loop reviewer , identifying reasoning gaps and hallucinations • Guide or perform financial data annotation , including: • Financial statements (10-K, 10-Q) • Earnings calls & transcripts • Market signals, risk factors, deal attributes • Ensure data quality suitable for model training and fine-tuning • Provide structured feedback to AI and product teams • Recommend improvements to: • Model accuracy • Financial relevance • Reasoning depth • Domain alignment Skills • 12+ years of hands-on experience in at least one: Asset Management, Private Equity, Equity Research, Investment Banking • Must have personally performed core workflows (not support roles) • AI Modeling • AI-assisted portfolio optimization, forecasting, risk scoring, or modeling • Rubrics Creation / Evaluation • Defining correct vs incorrect financial reasoning • LLMs • Evaluating AI-generated research, memos, scenarios (not just generating text) • Data Annotation • Labeling or structuring financial data for AI workflows • Prompt Engineering • Designing prompts to stress-test financial logic (bull vs bear, edge cases) • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Ability to explain complex finance concepts clearly • Experience collaborating with AI, ML, or engineering teams • High attention to detail Company Overview • MyRemoteTeam.com is a quick & easy way for Businesses to Pay Remote Teams, Employees, Consultants & Freelancers.
