Client Retention Associate
About the position
We are hiring a Client Retention Associate to support and grow our client retention efforts. This role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships, proactively addressing at-risk accounts and ensuring a high quality client experience throughout the life of the account.
Responsibilities
• Manage retention conversations with existing clients
• Handle objections and provide coverage comparisons
• Support renewal efforts by addressing concerns, resolving issues and reinforcing Proper’s value
• Maintain accurate notes and follow established retention workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, CAM team and support
Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience in account management, customer support or sales
• Strong communication skills and comfort handling difficult client conversations
• Highly organized and efficient with quick turnaround
• Coachable and receptive to feedback
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
