We are currently looking for a Part-Time Security & Compliance Specialist - REMOTE. As a key player in our organization, you will ensure that our cloud platform adheres to the stringent standards required by the financial services industry. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining security policies and conducting risk assessments, guiding our teams towards seamless compliance with regulations like PCI-DSS and GDPR. You will play a crucial role in protecting our security posture while providing essential training and support. This remote role offers the chance to influence significant security practices within our organization. Accountabilities • Maintain and improve security policies and controls across the platform. • Perform compliance validation and prepare for audits. • Conduct risk assessments on new workloads and track mitigation actions. • Provide security and compliance training to migration teams. • Interpret technical controls for Windows/Linux into compliance language. Requirements • 5+ years in security or compliance roles. • Experience with regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, GDPR). • Strong security assessment and risk management skills. • Familiarity with AWS security and logging services. • AWS Security Specialty certification or similar is an advantage.
