School Counselor - Remote Schools

Working with schools across the country, both virtual and brick-and-mortar, AXIS delivers remote therapy through a trusted team of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, counselors, and evaluators. The result is high-quality care for students across the country, and a strong, supportive community for the professionals who serve them. School Counselors at AXIS provide students with the tools and support needed to navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and strengthen resilience. Through virtual sessions, they work closely with schools to identify student needs, offer individualized support, and promote mental well-being in ways that are both practical and compassionate. Their role creates space for students to be seen, heard, and supported in meaningful ways. School Counselor Requirements & Responsibilities: • Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field from a regionally accredited institution • Ohio Department of Education License for School Counselor • 2+ years of experience in a school setting • Professional Integrity & Accountability – Demonstrates ethical behavior, respects policies, and takes ownership of responsibilities • Collaboration & Communication – Works effectively with colleagues and contributes to a positive, team-oriented environment • Adaptability & Problem Solving – Maintains a growth mindset, responds well to challenges, and can troubleshoot independently • Cultural Competence & Time Management – Shows cultural sensitivity and consistently manages time and tasks efficiently Mental Health Counselor Benefits: • Part-time Option: 15 hours of daytime availability per week minimum • 1099 Contract Positions • Competitive Pay • Unparalleled Mentorship and Support • 100% Remote Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
