[Remote] Associate, Psychometrician & Researcher Intern

They are offering an 8-week internship for doctoral students to gain hands-on experience in large-scale educational assessment, working closely with research scientists on projects related to assessment development and technical reporting. Responsibilities • Gain hands-on experience in large-scale educational assessment • Work closely with Pearson research scientists to support operational K–12 assessment contracts • Support assessment development, item analysis, standard setting, and technical reporting • Collaborate on research, co-publish with experts, and present at industry conferences Skills • Currently enrolled in a doctoral program in educational measurement, educational statistics, educational psychology, or a related field • Completion of at least two years of doctoral-level coursework • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to commit exclusively to the Pearson summer internship (no concurrent internships or externships) Benefits • Accrued paid sick time per the policy guidelines Company Overview • Pearson operates as a media and education company that offers a wide range of services to its customers.
