**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied.
* Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
* Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and easy-to-shop manner.
* Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using our POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues that may arise.
* Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention initiatives.
**Position Requirements**
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
* Experience: Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
* Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Availability: Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
