Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Utilizing arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter information into our system
  • Handling patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and entering refill orders for processing
  • Investigating to obtain missing prescription data and interpreting medical abbreviations (SIG codes)
  • Resolving all data entry-related exceptions
  • Handling communication with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolving outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis
  • Resolving Third-Party Rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements
  • Making phone calls to insurance providers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections
  • Providing support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations
  • Identifying and escalating issues to senior-level staff as appropriate

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic level computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing documents, and accessing information online)
  • Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate:

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment
  • At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents)
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
