**Experienced Booking & Activities Customer Support Specialist – Seasonal, Part-Time**

We create remote, impact employment where our team members and clients are valued and supported in their efforts to advance us all toward a more sustainable world. arenaflex is B Corp and Climate Neutral certified as well as a 1% for the Planet member. **Job Summary:** As a Booking & Activities Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing efficient, effective, and empathetic customer service to our clients through phone and email channels. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, answering their questions, booking guests on boating excursions, and resolving any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for keeping up-to-date with social media channels for customer support and feedback, and taking action when necessary. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional customer service through phone and email channels, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise * Book guests on boating excursions and manage bookings in our back-office systems * Keep up-to-date with social media channels for customer support and feedback, and take action when necessary * Assist with setting up schedules and tours in our back-office systems * Work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple responsibilities and timelines * Use multiple Chrome tabs at once to manage customer inquiries and bookings * Make decisions and work through customer tickets autonomously, using your problem-solving skills and confidence * Communicate effectively with our clients and team members, using smart win-win communications skills and computer expertise * Take on additional support and operational tasks and responsibilities in various systems **Essential Qualifications and Requirements:** * Keen problem-solving skills, and the ability to think on your feet * Experience with Fareharbor is a must * Familiarity with Zendesk, Aircall, or Talkdesk, and Slack is a plus * Strong active listening skills * Ability to use and model positive language to help customers and clients know that they are being heard and that their problems will be solved * Stamina in problem-solving, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude even on a tough day * Computer skills, including familiarity using multiple browsers, tabs, window navigations, and instant messaging tools * Fluency in oral and written English; second language is a plus * Dedicated and dependable work ethic * Quiet, distraction-free workspace in your home that includes a door that closes * Direct connection from computer to router/modem via Ethernet cable (no satellite or wireless Internet (WiFi)) * Strong and consistent Internet bandwidth: 50 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload or faster from a reliable provider **Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:** * Experience with CRM systems and AI * Familiarity with other customer support software and systems * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues * Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the travel or tourism industry **Benefits Package:** * Employee (not contractor) status at an exciting, socially-minded company * Option to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance programs (we pay a large portion of the basic plan premium) * Option to contribute to our 401(k) plan * Paid vacation after your first year * Paid sick leave * A financial wellness and coaching program - 0% loans to help pay down debt * Opportunity for everyone to be an owner in the company.
