HR Onboarding Administrator - On-site Role with Friday Remote Available.
The Human Resource Consulting Group is a woman-owned, Connecticut based, 36 year-old HR and payroll outsourcing company committed to providing high-touch service and expertise. Big enough to meet the HR needs of clients throughout the U.S. and small enough to care. We are looking for a customer-focused, team-oriented HR professional. You will be growing your career surrounded by HR professionals. Reporting to the Manager of Shared Service Operations you will be caring for new employees of our client organizations.
The HR Onboarding Administrator is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and administering the full onboarding process for our client base. This position is the first point of contact for onboarding and pre-employment inquiries. Responsibilities include:
• Managing the onboarding dashboard and ensuring all new hires are processed timely
• Reviewing all new hire electronic documents for accuracy and ensure that all necessary forms have been completed
• Exporting the data from the new hire paperwork into the HCM system
• Ensuring all logged onboarding issues are followed up on and cleared in a timely manner
• Reviewing and auditing the Form I-9 and complete the I-9 checklist to reflect all corrections necessary
• Processing Form I-9 through E-Verify as required
• Processing and reviewing results for background checks and drug testing
• Communicating with the hiring manager regarding the status of the new hire paperwork and following up as necessary
• Creating and sending offer letters
• Reviewing all offer letters and compensation agreements to ensure they are complete, accurate and are signed by the new hire for each position required
• Contacting employees when necessary to confirm information submitted is accurate or to request information and documentation to satisfy work eligibility requirements
• Providing benefits and 401(k) packages as appropriate
• Assisting in other HR employment activities as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred
• 2 to 3 years in employe onboarding
• Must have computer proficiency with MS Office, HCM and cloud-based programs
• High energy - enjoying lots of action, change, and varying client needs
