Job Overview
As a Customer Experience Banker at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service to our walk-in customers. Your role will be to retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit and banking products, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and loans
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership, including investment services, mortgage banking, and small business banking
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk
- Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in training and development programs, attending team meetings, and contributing to branch initiatives and projects
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role
- Or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or marketing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services, including deposit accounts, credit cards, and loans
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
- Cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale systems and other banking technology
- Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services, with a focus on leveraging technology to deliver exceptional customer service and improve operational efficiency
- Proven sales and relationship management skills, with a focus on growing customer relationships and exceeding sales targets
