As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical patterns and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You will work closely with our team to analyze data, create reports, and make recommendations for process improvements. **Responsibilities and Obligations** The responsibilities and obligations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to: * Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components. * Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities. * Present insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Help with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team. * Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors * Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision * May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader. **Information, Skills, Work Style, and Abilities** * Involved ability to collect, organize, analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy. * Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate thoughts and present recorded in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences. * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, like Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase is preferred. * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * Ready to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred * Ready to work independently in major areas of strength for a help/group-oriented climate * Ready to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred * Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately. * Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** * Competitive hourly rate of $28/hour * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative airline company * Flexible work environment with the ability to work remotely * Free, unlimited space available travel benefits for yourself (assessments and expenses may apply on international travel) * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Collaborative and supportive team environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
