About the Role: Temporary Remote CAT Customer Service Representative

We are seeking talented and compassionate individuals to work on a temporary, remote basis, providing critical support to customers during catastrophe relief efforts. As a CAT Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the help and guidance they need during difficult times. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact, work from the comfort of your own home, and develop valuable skills in customer service and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the latest customer service techniques to deliver positive, empathetic, and supportive interactions with customers
  • Learn and utilize our account management systems to improve the customer experience
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer needs, resolving issues efficiently and effectively
  • Collect and document claim details accurately, adhering to client-specific handling instructions
  • Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries
  • Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, demonstrating a customer-centric approach

Availability and Scheduling:

We require availability for the following shifts:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST
  • Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Hours of operation are from Sunday – Saturday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST. You will receive available hours weekly and can choose the shifts that work best for you. New hire classes are starting weekly, so don't miss this opportunity to join our team!

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be at least 18 years of age or older
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (40+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the onboarding process

Technical Requirements:

To perform this role, you will need:

  • Your own computer (arenaflex will not provide a laptop/computer)
  • A headset (preferred)
  • Operating System – Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Home (Chromebooks, macOS, Linux, etc. are not supported)
  • A private network connection (Ethernet connection strongly recommended)
  • No VPNs are allowed, as logins must happen in the US

  • Flexible scheduling, with the ability to choose shifts that work best for you
  • Opportunities for rehire during high volume timeframes, including end of April – May (Hail Claims), July – October (Hurricane Claims), and Christmas – New Year (high call volume Claims)
