Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Data Analyst, Customer Experience to join our team, leading the development and maintenance of solutions related to end-to-end customer experience data. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision making, leveraging your expertise in analytical reporting, business trends, correlations, and predictive modeling. This is a remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere and collaborate with our global team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading data mining and collection procedures, maintaining governance with data architecture and business intelligence teams
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity, interpreting and analyzing data problems, and translating them into meaningful information and visualizations for executive leadership, market leaders, and other department heads
  • Conceiving, developing, planning, and prioritizing data projects in partnership with customer experience leadership
  • Building analytic systems and predictive models to support ongoing and future data needs, testing and evaluating performance, and quantifying outcomes
  • Experimenting with new models and techniques to ensure our solutions grow with us, aligning all data projects with organization goals
  • Building relationships with managers and leaders to size analytical opportunities, creating delivery plans, and ensuring we are positioned to support quality business cases and deliver ROI
  • Facilitating analytical conversations with the business, exploring data from a modeling perspective, and performing initial exploratory data analysis to assess business value
  • Ensuring model implementations conform to regulatory requirements, producing clear documentation to support, and managing analytical projects and coordinating activities with other shared service partners

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience in data science or a related analytical field
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical/data mining methods and application, statistical and analytical model development, and data modeling techniques and tools (R, Python, SAS, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Quik, etc.
  • A Master's Degree in Computational Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with certifications in predictive analytics or other data science-related certifications being an asset

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Experience with data governance and compliance
