Senior BI Architect / Power BI Consultant

We are building a long-term BI practice focused on delivering real business value to executive teams. • We are seeking a Senior BI Architect / Power BI Consultant who combines technical excellence with business consulting skills .You will be responsible for: • Preparing trusted datasets from multiple sources • Building scalable data models in Power BI • Designing dashboards that clearly communicate business insights • Advising clients on KPI frameworks, Balanced Scorecards, and performance metrics • Collaborating with executives (CFOs, Finance Directors, Commercial Leads) • Mentoring future team members as the practice grows • This is not a “dashboard designer” role - you will shape the way clients measure performance and ensure data credibility. • Data Architecture & Preparation • Transform raw data from ERP, accounting, CRM, Excel, APIs, and cloud sources • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and validation • Develop ETL processes using Power Query and SQL • Participate in Data Warehouse architecture design • Implement data quality and governance processes • Power BI Development • Build advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI • Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns • Optimize performance of data models and dashboards • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) • Ensure dashboards tell a clear business story • Performance Management & KPI Consulting • Design Balanced Scorecards and KPI frameworks (financial, operational, commercial) • Advise clients on validity and interpretation of key metrics • Translate business strategy into measurable indicators • Align financial and operational metrics across the organization • Client Interaction & Consulting • Conduct workshops and requirements sessions with stakeholders • Translate business needs into technical solutions • Provide recommendations for KPI design and analytics improvements • Support pre-sales activities (technical validation, solution design) • 4+ years in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics • 3+ years hands-on Power BI development • Strong DAX and Power Query (M) expertise • Solid experience in SQL and data modeling (Star Schema) • Experience with financial and commercial data • Proven experience in KPI frameworks / performance dashboards / Balanced Scorecards • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen • Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives • Experience preparing datasets from multiple, fragmented sources • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud analytics platforms • Background in Data Warehouse architecture • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting automation • Consulting for small, medium, and large businesses • Long-term role with growth potential up to company management • Remote-first, flexible working model • Performance-based compensation Pay: From $80,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
