• Magical is seeking a talented and design-led Brand Designer to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This is an ongoing opportunity for a creative individual who possesses a strong understanding of brand aesthetics and can translate that vision into tangible marketing assets, with a particular emphasis on execution within Framer. If you are passionate about visual craft, maintain a high standard for consistency and taste, and are adept at taking designs from concept to live implementation, this role is an excellent fit for you. This position is designed to provide continuous marketing support, moving beyond one-off projects to become an integral part of our marketing efforts.
• As a Brand Designer, you will collaborate closely with our Marketing Lead to conceptualize, design, and launch high-quality brand and web-based marketing materials with speed and precision. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging and effective digital experiences that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic brand thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that our visual communications are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and impactful.
• A significant portion of your work will involve designing and building new landing pages within Framer. These pages will be crucial for various marketing campaigns, product launches, and lead generation efforts. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from initial wireframing and user flow to final visual design and interactive elements, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• You will also be tasked with updating and enhancing existing website pages. This includes both the visual design refresh and the technical implementation to bring those updates to life. Maintaining consistency across the website and ensuring it reflects our current brand standards will be a key responsibility.
• Furthermore, you will design new CMS-driven pages in Framer. This involves understanding how content management systems work and how to create dynamic, easily updatable pages that can be populated with fresh content, supporting our ongoing content marketing strategies.
• The role extends to creating compelling event collateral. This includes designing materials for trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events, such as booth graphics, posters, and flyers. The goal is to create visually striking materials that capture attention and effectively communicate our brand message in physical spaces.
• You will also be responsible for designing digital ad creative. This involves developing eye-catching banners, social media ads, and other digital advertising assets that drive engagement and conversions across various online platforms.
• In addition to specific campaign assets, you will contribute to the creation and evolution of our deck and presentation templates. Ensuring that our internal and external presentations are polished, on-brand, and visually consistent is vital for maintaining a professional image.
• While we have an established design system, we actively encourage thoughtful evolution and refinement. You will have the opportunity to contribute to its improvement, suggesting and implementing enhancements that elevate our brand's visual language and ensure scalability.
• Your workflow will be highly collaborative, working directly with our Marketing Lead on project briefs, refining copy, and adhering to timelines. Projects will vary in scope, from rapid, quick-turnaround updates to more in-depth, thoughtful page builds.
• You will primarily work within existing Framer projects, becoming proficient in our current setup, with opportunities to build new projects as they arise. This is fundamentally a design-first role, where Framer serves as the execution layer, enabling you to bring your design concepts to life efficiently.
• Success in this role hinges on strong brand and visual design fundamentals, proven experience in designing marketing websites (especially within B2B and SaaS environments), and hands-on expertise in building with Framer. The ability to manage projects from initial concept through to live deployment is crucial, as is a high bar for polish, clear hierarchy, thoughtful spacing, and typography. Comfort and proficiency in working asynchronously, remotely, and independently are essential for this position.
