[Remote] Senior UX Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VAS is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to drive the visual direction of their digital products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into elegant designs and interactive prototypes, ensuring user-centric experiences.
Responsibilities
• Design Leadership: Lead the end-to-end UI design process for web and mobile applications, from initial concept to final developer hand-off
• Visual Strategy: Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure brand consistency across all platforms
• Interactive Prototyping: Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes (using Figma) to demonstrate complex animations and transitions
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define product direction and ensure technical feasibility
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering their professional growth and maintaining high quality standards
• User Advocacy: Incorporate accessibility standards and user research insights into design decisions to create inclusive, user-centric experiences
Skills
• 10+ years of professional experience in UX or Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital projects
• Expert-level mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and A/B testing
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript) to facilitate smooth developer hand-offs
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to defend design decisions to senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
