Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in long-term care and assisted living facilities.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and blood glucose levels; document any changes.
• Collaborate with facility staff to follow individualized care plans and report any necessary adjustments in care, medication, or medical equipment.
Qualifications
• Active CNA License in South Dakota or eligibility for reciprocity/multi-state transfer.
• Must maintain required certification renewals.
• Experience preferred but not required—new CNAs welcome!
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
