Please include your personal email id and phone number in the resume Sr. Cloud Architect 100% remote Immediate Interviews RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and develop Multi-Cloud network, security, compute, and storage architectures • Act as subject matter expert in the areas of AWS, Azure and GPC • Translate Client's IT business requirements into a clear & concise, cost-effective network architecture • Research industry best practices and determine the relevance and feasibility of incorporating them into the Global Enterprise Network. • Author and maintain all server, virtualization and cloud architecture and standards documentation • Provide input for automation playbooks and drive towards infrastructure as code • Works in creating the roadmaps for products and deployments • Drive server, virtualization, cloud and process innovation through research and evaluation of both cutting edge and well-established technologies. • Participate in industry events and forums in an effort to further close that infinite gap between what we know and what we still have yet to learn • Participates in requirements/architecture discussions, design reviews, UAT, and deployment/training processes of various projects and products • Defines server, virtualization and cloud requirements and aligns technology roadmaps • Understands cloud designs and associated models Vendor Management • Builds and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders • Architect solutions utilizing industry best practices. • Determine operational weaknesses within the existing the server, virtualization and cloud infrastructure, and present execution plans to remediate problem areas. • Evaluate and identify opportunities to improve the security and/or performance of existing environments. • Implementation and enforcement of existing and self-designed security measures and policies to protect the Client from both external and internal attacks and/or abuses. • Travel may be required to meet project objectives. Approximately ?5% travel. QUALIFICATIONs • Cloud subject matter expert in multi-cloud deployments • Proven track record designing and implementing hybrid multi cloud architectures. • 10+ years of progressive cloud architecture experience in global large-scale enterprise environments. • In depth knowledge of AWS technologies such as EC2, Lambda, S3 and Transit gateway • Knowledge of and experience designing Docker containerized environments in the cloud • 8+ years architecting, designing, and implementing AWS infrastructure. • 5+ years architecting, designing, and implementing Azure infrastructure. • 3+ years architecting, designing, and implementing GPC infrastructure. • 2+ years’ experience architecting supporting VMC on AWS • Hand on experience with VMware Hypervisors and associated products • Hands on knowledge and experience with VMC on AWS • Infrastructure Security experience around securing hypervisors and cloud • Experience automating cloud deployments and tasks using Terraform • Ability to work as a member of a cross functional team. • Ability to document solutions with Visio, Word and PowerPoint. • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with clients, management, and peers. • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. DESIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE • Hybrid Milt cloud data center design • Proven experience architecting AWS, GPC, and Azure cloud environments • Experience with Client's connectivity products • Experience and/or knowledge of Docker Containers with Kubernetes • Design and implementation of VMC on AWS • Automation tools such as Service Now, Terraform and ansible • In-depth cloud networking knowledge as it relates to Layer 3 technologies • Experience with Aviatrix deployments • Application stack layer 3-7 • Positive attitude with a love of learning new tech.
