Temporary Media Specialist, Test Development
a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities and expectations for the temporary Media Specialist position reporting directly to the Manager of Media and Composition, based in DRC's corporate office in Maple Grove, Minnesota. This position will last approximately 4 months.
Remote candidates will be considered.In this role, you will be responsible for modifying and maintaining graphics, ensuring strict adherence to DRC and client-/project-specific styles and specifications. Your work will entail utilizing the established processes within DRC's proprietary item banking system, IDEAS, as necessary.
Position Responsibilities:
High level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
Knowledge of print and web production
Ability to create tech-enhanced items (e.g., bubble input, drag and drop, hotspot, click to respond, layered input) for online presentation in INSIGHT (proprietary software)
Use IDEAS item bank and its related tools to maintain process efficiencies
Adhere to specific client design styles and requirements
Collaborate effectively within the team and with other production teams and business units
Be task oriented, and a focused self-starter who can meet tight deadlines
Well-developed, professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups of people
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, or Associate's degree in Illustration, Digital Illustration, or similar, with a diverse liberal arts background
Understand basic CSS for online development
Experience with large scale assessment test design
