Role Summary
Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of consumer and safety products, is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst for their Digital Technology team. The Senior Financial Analyst – DT provides financial planning, reporting, and governance support for Digital Technology operations and initiatives. This role partners closely with Technology leadership, Finance, HR, and Procurement to promote financial transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making across operational, growth, and transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly close activities, accruals, and variance analysis for operational and project expenditures.
• Build and maintain financial models for long-range planning, scenario analysis, run-rate tracking, and investment evaluations.
• Monitor headcount, contractor spend, project costs, capitalization, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor financial commitments.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to develop business cases, evaluate digital and IT investments, and track benefit realization.
• Prepare concise, executive-level financial reports and insights for senior leadership audiences.
• Strengthen financial controls, documentation, audit readiness, and continuously improve reporting processes and automation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–8+ years of FP&A experience, preferably supporting technology, digital, or shared services organizations.
• Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills with strong Excel proficiency and experience using enterprise financial systems.
• Working knowledge of IT cost structures, including operational vs. project spend, CapEx vs. OpEx, cloud services, licensing, and vendor services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
