AI Automation & Data Systems Specialist (Sheets, Excel, Web Scraping)

We’re looking for an AI-savvy automation specialist to help us build intelligent data systems for lead generation and business growth. This is not a basic VA role. We need someone who understands: • AI tools (ChatGPT / GPT API / Claude / etc.) • Google Sheets automation • Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, Power Query, macros, VBA preferred) • Web scraping tools and techniques • Data structuring and cleaning • Workflow automation What You’ll Be Doing Scraping websites to collect targeted business data Building automated lead lists inside Google Sheets / Excel Using AI to enrich data (categorize, summarize, qualify leads, etc.) Creating smart dashboards and structured databases Connecting tools via Zapier / Make / APIs (preferred) Designing repeatable systems (not manual processes) Example projects: Pull ecommerce brands from specific categories and enrich with revenue estimates Scrape law firm websites and categorize by practice area Build automated prospecting sheets for outreach Create AI-powered qualification scoring inside Sheets You’re a Great Fit If: You’ve built scraping workflows before (Apify, Octoparse, Python, etc.) You understand how to clean and structure messy web data You know how to use AI beyond basic prompts You can explain your systems clearly You think in automation, not manual work Bonus Points For: Python experience Experience with lead gen systems Experience working with agencies Understanding of marketing or sales workflows How to Apply Please include: A short Loom explaining a scraping or AI workflow you built The tools you’ve used One example of how you would automate lead building for a video production company targeting: Law firms Ecommerce brands Conference attendee lists If this works, this could turn into a long-term role building AI infrastructure for a growing national video production company.
