Role Description AttainX Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our federal IT delivery team. The ideal candidate brings hands-on expertise designing and executing automated testing frameworks for complex enterprise and government systems. You will work within Agile/SAFe delivery teams to ensure software quality across the full testing lifecycle — from strategy and test design through execution, reporting, and CI/CD integration. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing across federal enterprise platforms • Execute and manage regression, smoke, functional, integration, system, and end-to-end (E&E) test cycles • Develop and maintain API test suites using Postman, ReadyAPI, or REST Assured; validate REST API responses, payloads, and business rules • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git, Docker) • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile/SAFe sprint ceremonies to define acceptance criteria and test strategies • Contribute to test planning documentation, including test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and defect reports • Perform database validation using SQL/MySQL to verify data integrity across system workflows • Support mobile testing efforts using Android Studio, XCode, ADB, and BrowserStack where applicable • Conduct performance and load testing using Apache JMeter • Leverage AI-assisted tools and LLM-driven workflows to accelerate test design, analysis, and QA processes • Participate in quality governance activities and promote QA best practices across the team Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in software QA with a focus on test automation • Proficiency with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, and/or Cypress • Strong API testing experience with Postman, ReadyAPI, or REST Assured • Programming proficiency in JavaScript and/or Java (Java 17) • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and test design methodologies • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker • Solid SQL/MySQL skills for backend data validation • Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery environments • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document and present QA findings clearly • Ability to obtain USDA Public Trust Clearance Requirements • Experience supporting USDA, FPAC, NRCS, or other federal civilian agencies • Experience with financial systems, business rules engines, or contract/agreement management platforms • Familiarity with AWS cloud environments • Experience with Angular front-end testing integration • Knowledge of AI-enabled QA workflows, prompt engineering for test automation, or agentic AI concepts • Certified SAFe® Practitioner (SAFe 5 or 6) • Experience with mobile testing (Android Studio, XCode, ADB, BrowserStack) • Familiarity with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing Benefits • Competitive compensation and benefits packages including paid vacation, medical, dental, vision, matching 401K plan, tuition/training reimbursement, and Long & Short-Term Disability Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
