Position Overview

As a Proofreader & Customer Representative Specialist at arenaflex, you will wear two complementary hats:

  • Proofreader: Ensure every piece of written or digital content—marketing flyers, internal memos, emails, press releases, website copy, and more—meets the highest standards of spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and brand consistency.
  • Customer Representative: Serve as a front‑line ambassador for arenaflex’s clients, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering relationships that reinforce our reputation for reliability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Proofreading & Content Quality Assurance

  • Thoroughly review and edit a wide range of written and digital assets for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, and brand voice.
  • Apply arenaflex’s style guide and branding standards to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Validate factual information—dates, figures, citations, hyperlinks—and maintain detailed source logs for reference.
  • Cross‑check references, data tables, and external links to guarantee accuracy and credibility.
  • Provide clear markup using industry‑standard proofreading symbols and modern tools such as track changes, comments, and collaborative editing platforms.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, product managers, and marketing specialists to address feedback, clarify intent, and refine copy.
  • Identify recurring errors or workflow bottlenecks and propose process improvements to streamline future editing cycles.

Customer Representation & Support

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat, delivering courteous, solution‑focused assistance.
  • Guide customers through arenaflex’s services, troubleshooting common issues and escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in our CRM system, ensuring a complete history for each client.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2‑3 years of professional proofreading, copyediting, or content quality assurance experience.
