  • Pharmacy Support (under direct pharmacist supervision)
    • Utilize arenaflex pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information, ensuring accurate data entry.
    • Assist in filling prescriptions: count, pour, label, and verify medication quantities and strengths.
    • Check for potential drug‑drug, drug‑food, or drug‑disease interactions and immediately report any concerns to the pharmacist on duty.
    • Help the pharmacist schedule workflow, maintain inventory levels, and prepare medication orders.
    • Handle non‑clinical calls, such as physician inquiries or third‑party insurance verifications, with professionalism.
    • Process manual claims for third‑party prescription programs, ensuring timely resubmission and accurate documentation.
  • Inventory & Merchandising
    • Maintain clean, well‑organized counters and shelves; execute planograms and visual merchandising standards.
    • Perform inventory counts, restock shelves using first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) methodology, and manage product rotation.
    • Assist with receiving, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments; file claims for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
