[Remote] Database Administrator I, FIS University Program

As a Database Administrator I, you will monitor data quality, collaborate with teams to improve database designs, and assist in product development to ensure proper data use. Responsibilities • You will be analysing data within ChexSystems and making recommendations on where processes and procedures could be improved • Explore both new and legacy technologies and tools to identify data anomalies, trends in existing data, and to validate new data sources • You will become an expert in data and systems to assist product teams design and execute on new product initiatives • You will work closely with multiple teams leveraging and learning skills to propel the business forward and achieve objectives Skills • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication skills • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills • Ability to work well independently and within a team • Experience on both Mainframe and Unix/Linux systems • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI Benefits • Competitive salary and excellent benefits • Time to support charities and give back to your community • Student Loan Repayment Program~ FIS will PAY OFF participants’ undergraduate loan balance over 10 years of service!
