[Remote] Data Analyst/Business Intelligence

AcceleratedPM is seeking a Data Analyst/Business Intelligence to support enterprise business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting initiatives. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights through the development of dashboards and analytical tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and business efficiency. Responsibilities • Develop automated dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, or equivalent BI platforms • Support project controls teams by providing schedule, cost, and performance analytics derived from Primavera P6, Cobra, JSON datasets, and client reporting systems • Build and maintain data models, queries, and pipelines to standardize reporting across the organization • Analyze historical data to identify trends, risks, variances, and performance indicators • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions • Support internal and client-facing presentations by generating clear, concise, executive-ready analyses • Maintain documentation for data workflows, dashboards, governance, and operating procedures • Provide user training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for BI tools • Support integration efforts between enterprise systems (e.g., P6, Cobra, accounting systems, cloud platforms) • Ensure reporting workflows comply with security, privacy, and data management policies • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve overall data maturity • Participate in process improvement initiatives, including system optimization and workflow redesign • Assist leadership in developing KPIs and reporting standards • Support internal and external audits requiring analytical or reporting extracts • Research and recommend new tools, data practices, or visualization techniques Skills • Accredited four-year degree in Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and 10 years of related experience • Experience building BI dashboards and data models using tools like Power BI or Tableau • Strong proficiency with Excel, SQL querying, and data transformation techniques • Experience integrating data from enterprise systems (e.g., P6, Cobra, ERP systems) • Ability to translate technical data into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage multiple concurrent priorities Company Overview • AcceleratedPM provides expertise in portfolio and project management consulting, earned value management, enterprise implementations, technical installation and support.
