The Person

The Role
Harbinger Marketing seeks a talented, driven, and team-oriented professional to assist our Social Media, Email Marketing, and Content Writing departments. This person is responsible for helping to establish, create, manage, and maximize our clients’ blog, social media, and email marketing initiatives. The Content Creator will work directly with the Content Director, Creative Director, Marketing Directors, and team to produce strong and engaging content in all mediums. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities:
• Act as a primary content marketing resource for Marketing Directors, taking full responsibility for assigned accounts.
• Project manage all content production efforts across the Content Marketing team, including graphic designers, copywriters, and digital strategists, to create content quarterly. This includes assigning projects and managing bandwidth.
• Direct and edit content from overseas and domestic contractors for brand voice and tone, quality design, and overall storytelling. Content includes long-form blogs, emails, infographics, and social media graphics and captions.
• Direct design and copywriting for sales assets to be created by overseas contractors, including print resources, banners, apparel, truck wraps, and more.
• Manage the publication of email, social media, and blog campaign calendars across multiple publishing software and communicate with internal stakeholders regarding campaign timing, targeting, and scope.
• Communicate regularly with overseas and domestic contractors to build relationships, cast vision, and inspire high-quality creative work and team engagement.
• Support the Content Director in planning and executing the Annual Marketing Plan for assigned accounts.
• Serve as a resource for the rest of the content marketing team.
• Collaborate and contribute to the team's success and other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• A strong work ethic, sense of proactivity, and drive for success.
• A desire and willingness to communicate openly with contractors and in-house team members to achieve quarterly goals.
• An intimate familiarity with each social network and its inner workings, especially Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Understand basic social media strategy and maintain a drive to remain focused on platform-specific algorithms and updates.
• Strong copywriting skills for social media, email marketing, and long-form website content, with the ability to communicate a wide range of brand voices and tones.
• Graphic Design experience is a plus.
Preferred:
• An understanding of Google Suite, Mailchimp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with email marketing strategies.
• Experience with graphic design.
• Experience with ChatGPT or alternate AI software.
